Steve E. Raphel

Steve is a fourth-generation perfumer who began his career as a Creative Perfumer at Felton International. By age 27, he was Vice President of Global Perfumery for Felton, responsible for all creative laboratories in New York, Toronto, Mexico City, Paris, London, and Hong Kong. Steve then joined J. Manheimer Inc. in 1986 to launch their Fragrance Division as a perfumer. Steve ultimately became President of the J. Manheimer Inc. fragrance division, which he ran for 15 years, averaging 25.4% year-on-year growth. After that, Steve held two executive positions: President of Belmay Inc. and Co-President of Ungerer & Company. At both companies, he successfully assisted in the turnaround, recruitment, and development of business models and growth strategies, ultimately leading to the successful sale of these two companies to Symrise and Givaudan, respectively.
